BUSINESS
About 6D Networktainment
6D Networktainment is a nonprofit artist development organization in Chicago. It was established to assist Chicago emerging music artists and industry professionals in their careers by our three objectives:
1. Sharing and creating networking opportunities 2. Educating artists on how to navigate through the music industry 3. Bridging the gap between Chicago's top music professionals and those emerging 6D embodies the concept of "Six Degrees of Separation” which states that everyone is six or fewer steps away from each other and more connected than everyone thinks. The mission is to create a more cohesive artist community and make the Windy City a central hub for music and entertainment. The 6D team works together to provide resources, share knowledge, and encourage collaboration through the many events they produce. Creativity and community remains the top values for this organization, and they will continue to use these attributes to pay it forward. |
About Windy Fest
Windy Fest is a music and community festival with a philanthropic flair, powered by Chicago music nonprofit, 6D Networktainment. Started in 2017, the purpose of Windy Fest is to strengthen and celebrate community pride by encompassing all things local, from the artwork showcased, to the music performed, to vendor booths led by local businesses and educational entities.
Every year, the Windy Fest team chooses a different nonprofit arts organization in Chicago to donate a percentage of their festival proceeds to, shining a light on the positivity of the city’s arts scene. With two successful years under their belt, they are excited to see what's next as they continue to evolve Windy Fest for years to come with more collaborations and community involvement... For Chicago, By Chicago! |
